Hello, my name is Min (they/she).I am a multimedia, multidisciplinary artist based in San Francisco, CA. My current focus medium has been ceramics. I also paint, sew, and do linocut. Always looking to learn new mediums and skills and combine them in my art.I am most drawn to art that is made slowly and by hand. The process of creating is just as important as the finished piece. I hope to spend the rest of my time on Earth making art slowly and with intention.
why "k4rkin0s"?
k4rkin0s (or karkinos) is the ancient greek work for crab. it is also the root word for the word carcinisation which is a evolutionary theory involving life forms evolving to take on crab-like traits.i think it would be really lovely if that did happen. I think i'd like to be a crab with tons of spikes and long scary legs like a spider crab (which are so delicious and also so beautifully terrifying to look at).
